American Honda wins out, leading over other brands in the Cars.com 2025 American-Made Index®.  A total of eight models from the Honda and Acura landed in the top 20, with 3 Honda vehicles in the top 10, once again proving their commitment to American manufacturing. For over 40 years, Honda has been building cars in America, and this long-standing commitment is reflected in the 2025 rankings. The company has been a consistent leader on the American-Made Index since its inception in 2006. 

This recognition of Honda’s leadership in U.S. auto manufacturing is based on more than four decades of commitment to building vehicles in America. From design and development to sourcing, logistics, and final production, our highly integrated regional manufacturing network results in some of the most American vehicles on the roads today proudly displaying Honda and Acura badging.

3 Honda vehicles in the top 10 include:

  • Honda Passport: This SUV is built exclusively in Alabama.
  • Honda Ridgeline: The Ridgeline pickup is also produced in Alabama.
  • Honda Odyssey: The Odyssey minivan, which is the most American-made minivan, is built in Alabama as well.

In addition to models in the top 10, the Honda Pilot and Honda Accord also secured spots in the top 20.

With nearly two-thirds of all Honda automobiles sold in the U.S. being made in America, the company continues to demonstrate its dedication to American production.
